BlogToProfit Philippines November 15, 2006

Perhaps you have heard about it. But wasn’t interested. Perhaps you’ve heard about earning through blogs. But those do not serve Philippines yet because of PayPal constraints. Then you heard about friends earning through their blogs, through BlogToProfit. Now, that’s a different story. If you want to try it yourself, please read on.
A good number of bloggers have already enrolled in the program. You might have read or heard of some issues about the program. And perhaps questions have clouded your mind. My intention here is to provide an overview of what the program is all about, how much will you earn and how to go about it.
BlogToProfit is a newly launched program developed by an SEO company in California, USA. It’s open not only to US based bloggers but to all blogging community around the globe.
BlogToProfit Philippines is the first chapter opened for non-US based bloggers. It started the post sponsorship program September of this year. Then the referral program followed a month after that.
The Programs
R eferral – Refer as many bloggers as you can. You will be paid PhP400.00 as soon as the referral completes an order. A referral guideline will be sent to you through email if you’ll signify your interest.
Post Sponsorship – You will be given a set of links and its corresponding keyword or anchor text. Write a blog entry and the keywords, directed to the advertising link, should be found in the main body of your post. To qualify for this program, a blog should have at least one Page Rank (PR) and 90% of the pages should be indexed by major search engines. The price per link will vary depending on your Google page ranking.
How to go about it:
1. Fill out the form in the BlogToProfit-Philippines website. If you’re residing here in the Philippines, don’t bother trying BlogToProfit-US because you will still be routed back to me
2. Your blog will be evaluated for search engine ranking and content. Pornographic sites are not accepted. Just submit your blog sites, leave the evaluation to us.
3. Wait for a reply. If your blog qualifies, the price offered per link and the first set of links will be sent to you after the evaluation. All blogs enrolled are already part of the program. Even if your blog does not qualify yet. If so, you will be offered with the referral scheme where you can earn until your blog is ready for post sponsorship. If, after a period of time you want to bail out and cancel you membership, that would be fine. Just let me know.
4. When assigned with links to post, an excel sheet will be sent to you. As soon as the posts are completed, send the excel file back to ann@blogtoprofit.com, along with the permalinks of the posts and your contact details.
5. Payments through Western Union are sent every Wednesday at 6PM. Bank transfers are done every Thursday morning. You will be notified for your schedule of payment and the amount. Confirmation number will be given to you as soon as the fund is ready for pick up.
I hope this article clears out some questions you might be having. For further details, check on our FAQ page and the Process and Guidelines. Please feel free to comment here. If your queries require immediate attention, you may buzz at my YM at catannlau[@]yahoo.com.
I’ll be looking forward to sponsoring your blog posts!

Love Leaves With a Lesson November 13, 2006

Ishi, a close friend back at IRMC sent me this text message:
“Sometimes we just have to let go of someone who matters to us not because we want to but because we have to. Because it’s the right thing to do. Let us remember that we can’t force anyone to love us. We can’t beg someone to stay when he wants to leave and be with someone else. This is what love is all about. However, the end of love is not the end of life. It should be the beginning of an understanding that love not only leaves for a reason but leaves with a lesson…”
This friend of mine just came out of a broken relationship herself and was courageous enough to accept that the relationship she used to have with this is no longer there.
Love sometimes comes like a bolt of lightning that you become a different person once it hits you hard. An you sometimes become too attached and it pains when it’s taken off by force… through circumstances (e.g death) and conscious decision by the other party to leave.
If my officemate Clyde won’t mind, He’s my next example
Che’s blog showed an article about that breezy afternoon at Sport’s cafe when he felt tormented, depressed and miserable seeing his Dee walk away.
It wasn’t easy for Ishi. Nor was it for Clyde. As some might say, “sh-it happens”
But check John’s comment on Clyde’s story:
Eight years from now, you will smile at these bittersweet memories and thank the fates this experience happened to you. Some of the best, well-principled, strong people I know have been shaped by the very circumstances akin to what you are undergoing through now.
Be strong, ride the wave, and above all don’t give in to hatred that some weaker individuals find so pleasing to take solace in.
Trust me, been there, done that. (And witnessed some who triumphed and got better because of it and some who gave in and added to the writhing, decaying pile that make up the cesspool of humanity.)
hmmm… Well said

If you want to vent out anger, frustration, exhaustion and other mental and emotional trash, what do you guys do? Do you shout? do you pound the your wrist until it hurts and breaks the table? Or maybe crush the mouse? Do you shout out loud and curse? Do you go to an open space and scream your hearts out?
What do i do, you may ask… I just cry. I remember one time here in the office when one of my office mates told me that when someone annoys or irritates her, she doesn’t get mad and shout back. She simply gets even. And the “tormentor” wont even realize it hahaha.. hmmm, Pwede! She advised me to practice that whenever someone takes advantage of my “kindness” and gullibility (if there is such a word).
I am a patient person, I used to say. I still believe so. And I keep my anger in my pocket until it dissolves and evaporates to thin air. I don’t know if this is a “divine” gift, an acquired skill or a mental decision. To some of my friends, they think it’s blessing to those who hurt me but a curse on my part hahaha!
Nah.. this is more of a principle. I don’t say I am a perfect anger keeper. I just say, I don’t get angry when I don’t have to. And If I do, I don’t keep it in. I dont usually vent it out either. It just melts and poof! it’s gone. Someone told me I am able to because I haven’t been placed in an unbearable situation, when temperature rises to it’s maximum calibration until I break and burst into anger. I don’t know about that. I have been into that position once and I just burst into tears. Oh well, when God has given me too little space for anger, He must have given me a big tear pocket. Hahaha!

It’s 12:08 AM and I just couldn’t sleep. I kept tossing and throwing until I decided to get up and define what I was excited about. I’ve come up with an idea. I’m setting up a cookblog where people could access recipes on-line. I’m sure there are heaps of them over the web. In fact, there’s more than enough for chefs to cook forever! (hahahaha!) But who cares? I could consider my cook blog to be especially made for my sisters who are beyond my reach. One lives in manila and the other who lives in Australia and is usually on-line while doing some kitchen chores. At least, I’ve got sure audience ahaha! *pak!* (a silly lamok just bit me) Ayt! better check on my up coming blogs *excited-excited*
